Weather and precipitation monitoring that brings radar, forecast information and timely alerts into one useful view.
I'm Daniel Grant — a civil engineer, technology leader and lifelong tinkerer based in British Columbia. From municipal infrastructure to skydiving education and custom web apps, I like turning complex challenges into practical solutions.

My professional background is in civil engineering and municipal infrastructure, with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia. At TRUE Consulting, my work spans infrastructure, technology, systems and problem-solving.
Beyond engineering, skydiving and aviation have been a major part of my life. I've served as Chief Instructor with Kamloops Skydivers, held club leadership roles, and worked extensively with the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association (CSPA) as a learning facilitator and member of its Coaching Working Committee.
In 2024, I received the CSPA Cathy Johnson Service Award in recognition of volunteer service to coach and instructor development. I've also contributed to national training manuals and education resources.
These days, I also enjoy building lightweight web apps, exploring automation and AI, and finding better ways to organize information. This site is where those interests intersect.

A straightforward private polling system for group decisions, with anonymous ballots and flexible question formats.
This domain is home to projects I use, tools I'm testing, and software I've developed to solve real problems. Some tools support engineering and environmental monitoring; others serve skydiving training, family life or a good game of darts. Not everything is public-facing or a commercial product — and that's the point.
It's a place to experiment, learn, and put useful ideas to work.
